Little Looms Fall 2022 Magazine – A Giveaway!

Did you see it? We’re tickled pink and humbled to see that the Cathedral Window blanket made the cover!

To share the happiness, Charlene suggested to give away three printed issues of “Little Looms Fall 2022”, one each day of this (long) weekend.

THE GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED! Thank you for your participation!

All you need to do is leave a comment below and name your favorite projects in this issue (and there is no wrong answer, if you ask us).

We will randomly draw a name, once a day, this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, at random times, out of all comments available at that time and post your name right here if you win.

How it works:

  • Leave a comment below. What are your favorite projects in this issue?
  • Leave only one comment. Multiple comments do not increase your chance to win.
  • You can enter now until Monday, July 4th, 2022 when at some point of our choosing we will draw the last winner.
  • The giveaway is for (3) Little Looms Fall 2022 magazine issues, one per day.
  • The winner will be determined randomly from comments left on this post.
  • The winners will be announced every day, here on the blog.
  • No substitutes, no cash.
  • This giveaway is open to fiber enthusiasts internationally, unless there are legal or other restrictions in your country that prevent us from shipping to you. (Note: In case you win we will pay for USPS International First Class shipping or contribute to the postage in the equivalent amount of that. You will have to pay for any extra shipping cost and any custom and/or tax incurred by your country.)
  • We will use the comments/contacts information only to determine the winner.
  • In case you win, you agree that we may post your name as stated in the comments here on this blog when we announce the winners.
Charlene wishes you good luck!

And the winners are:
Day 1: Linda Canton
Day 2: Tammy
Day 3: Jessie (please check your email for details)

  1. Congratulations for the cover!! That is special. (I subscribe to Little Looms, so I don’t need the prize – pick someone else.)

      1. Absolutely! And I like how it combines different crafts … makes it very versatile.

    1. Wow, I can’t wait to get my hands on the latest copy and the cover is stunning. Congratulations 🎉 While all the projects are beautiful, I would have to say the cowl is my favorite, as I am always cold (even living in the desert of Yuma AZ) and cowls are perfect to keep you warm. 😀

      1. Do you mean the Hidden Diamond cowl? Agreed on the “I don’t like the AC to blow on my neck” syndrome! I like cowls because they are nice, medium sized projects that turn into something pretty and practical.

    2. I’m so excited that a turtle loom project made the cover! It’s absolutely gorgeous and is my favorite project! Cathedral Window blanket looks seamless and timeless. I’m so excited for Gabi!

  2. So hard to pick a favorite. I really like them all. The blanket does stand out a lot to me, andI l like to make a variety of blankets.
This magazine would be great one to have. Well they all would be.

    1. Congratulations, Tammy, you won the Day 2 Little Looms Fall 2022 magazine giveaway! Please check your email for details.

  3. Hi Gabi, When I saw the notice that the latest issue of Little Looms was available yesterday, I thought that the cover blanket was made with Turtle looms. You confirmed it this morning! I too already subscribe to Little Looms so don’t put me in the drawing. However, I am waiting for a full scale book from you on all things Turtle Looms. Are you writing one yet?

    1. I wish I had more time, and I’d be writing two books! For now, looms and designs and an occasional article must suffice. Thank you for your kind comment!

    1. Isn’t that a “must have”? And I think it’s a really good beginner project, too.

  4. It’s very hard to pick a favourite, but I do love the buttons and lace cowl. My 2nd would be the cathedral glass quilt. Good luck all!

    1. I think the buttons cowl is such a functional way to display pretty buttons … and the woven fabric is just amazing …

  5. It‘s hard to pick a favourite. But a few months ago I took my kindergarten group to an alpaca farm and fell in love with those cuddly furballs. That‘s why I love the Llama – could be easily turned into an alpaca.

  6. The Cathedral Window blanket is my favorite pattern. Love the colors! I have to mention the Kodachrome Quilt is a close second. It looks intriguing. Also, love the color combination.

  7. The cute as a bug pencil case is adorable. My second choice is the llama. However all of the projects are inspiring and make me want to start weaving.

  8. I love the Kodachrome quilt. The colors are beautiful. I would like to make the Infinitely Spectacular Scarf and the Goldenrod Scarf. All of them are so lovely and works of art. Thank you for showing these creations.

    1. Ooh, good scarf choices! And it’s my pleasure to read what others think, thank you for contributing!

  9. A Bag for Janice and the button cowl really caught my eye, plus all the lovely (and intimidating!) blankets. I’ve just started weaving, and the possibilities seem endless!

    1. Isn’t the bag cute? And it has so many different crafts all in one project, I love it! (yes, people may notice by now that I love EVERYTHING in this magazine) Regarding being intimidating … remember that it’s all just “one pick at a time”, and you can do that. “possibilities seem endless” … yup, they are!

    1. Ooh, that’s another “pearl” … the runner is made using the Catenpile technique (I had never heard of that before), which is described in detail in an article in this issue, written by the designer Jessica Lambert.

    2. CONGRATULATIONS, LINDA! YOU ARE THE DAY 1 WINNER OF OUR LITTLE LOOMS MAGAZINE GIVEAWAY!

  10. Hi. I’m just getting started in learning looming. I love the Cathedral window Blanket. Can’t wait to give it a go. 😊

    1. CONGRATULATIONS, JESSIE! YOU ARE THE DAY 3 WINNER OF OUR LITTLE LOOMS MAGAZINE GIVEAWAY!

  11. It’s a toss up between your cathedral blanket(I have a similar crochet pattern that I’ve always wanted to make but physical limitations make that near impossible) or the caterpillar case for the kiddo starting kindergarten soon.

    1. I think you should make the pencil case FIRST, and then you can work on the blanket when she is in kindergarten, lol!

  12. Congratulations! You turtles have traveled far and I am sure will continue to bring pleasure to many folks.

  13. What a super lovely giveaway, which is so much better then a pdf file for this magazine, because it’s loaded with such lovely item’s that a magazine would be awesome❣️

  14. I’m very new to this. I just ordered my very first Little Loom. I’m so very excited. I would love to receive these magazines. I love the picture on the cover. Now that’s something I would like to make.

    1. No matter where you start, weaving is an awesome hobby, and all the Little Looms magazines are the best companions that I can think of!

  15. Your quilt is stunning, but I admit I let out a squeal when I saw that adorable pencil case. My six-year-old would go wild for it.

    1. Pin looms are a great way to get started with weaving … well, so are frame looms, … or inkle looms, … or rigid heddle looms, … Have fun!

    1. And yet it’s so simple! Just a few “tricks” (explained in the pattern), and you’re rolling …

  16. I love the cathedral blanket! The black stitching really sets off the bright colors.

    1. Thanks! It’s actually a charcoal gray, which is a little bit more comfortable to work with. But you still get that effect of having a real nice border.

  17. Hi,
Thanks for the opportunity to have this issue. Love the little critters/ Llamas!

  18. I am in awe of the cover, but for me the little worm pencil case is more my speed.

    1. The pencil case is a great starter project … and then you can think about what to make next …

  19. I loved the pattern on cover when I got the digital magazine. When I found out it was all pin loom, I immediately started thinking of my color choices. It’s simply beautiful!

  20. I immediately saw other uses for the CUTE AS A BUG PENCIL CASE by Deborah Bagley. Maybe a case for storing needles, crochet hooks, weaving comb ect…

  21. Amazing blanket! The new 3″ looms are very cool. The caterpillar pencil case is super cute and i could see a few fiber supplies stored in it.

    1. Yes, indeed! I think the “pencil” case would be great for storing weaving tools as well.

  22. It looks like there are soooo many great projects. Love the cathedral window blanket, but would also love to see more about the napkins.

    1. Oh, yes, the napkins! Sara Bixler invites you to weave some pick-up lace patterns on your rigid heddle loom! Scrumptious …

  23. Love the Llama and blanket in this issue 😍. Really love the projects in this issue

  24. Thank you for a great chat, all y’all, and congrats to the three winners! The giveaway is now closed.
