A Saturday Morning to My Liking …

I’ve been blessed with a quiet Saturday morning, a perfect opportunity to put the first eleven days of this year’s temperature blanket together.

This year, I want to start with January 1st in the center, and then “spiral” out from there.

I am using the TinyTURTLE loom again, and the same, fun to work with Paintbox Simply Aran yarn from loveknitting. The color categories are also unchanged: 5 degree steps from 50 – 105, but I slipped the “100 degrees” into the next category, so that it will be easy to count the “100 and above” days of Texas summer!

Starting the spiral may seem a little bit tricky, so I’m providing photo-guided step-by-step instructions on my Ravelry project.
