All you can do with them is make more hexagons …

It has become a family joke that our oldest son started when he saw me work on differently sized hexagon looms. Lovingly, teasingly he said: “I don’t get it. All you can do with them is make more hexagons!”

Of course there are plenty of PEOPLE WHO DO GET IT and appreciate the availability of different size TURTLE hexagon pin looms!

The original TURTLE Loom™ is now joined by TinyTURTLE™ and by TexaTURTLE™:

TinyTURTLE™ (buy)

  • Measures 2” side-to-side
  • Needs only about 2 yards of worsted weight yarn to weave one hexagon
  • Great loom size for small, quick items like earrings, Puff Pets™, and for larger items where color play matters or space for color work designs is limited

TexaTURTLE™ (buy)

IMG_5259

  • Measures 6” side-to-side
  • Use 13 yards of worsted weight yarn to weave one hexagon
  • Great for larger items like clothing or afghans, more-weaving-less-sewing projects, just-the-right-size items like hats. With its side length of 3.5” this loom also perfectly combines with other little 3.5” loom shapes like squares, triangles, diamonds, and tumbling blocks.
