My favorite season is autumn. Because of the weather, yes, but mostly for the fact that this is the time when the new fall/winter yarns are released!
This year, I decided to do something new and share my sampling thoughts with you in a video, starting with a selection of Hobby Lobby yarns that I tried out recently.
Please let me know what you think about such a presentation! Are you enjoying it? Do you find it useful? Would you like to see something different? Leave a comment here on the blog …
But now, enjoy watching!

All the sample hexagons are put to “good use”: I add them to my Patchwork 2020 project!
Is there a particular yarn that you like best?

I loved your review of all the yarns (but now I want to buy even moreš). It was great seeing how each of them wove up without having to do it myself. There were several I think Iām going to need to try. I thought your presentation was very good. Thanks for taking the time to do that.
Thank you, Paula! That is such a nice comment!
Hi Gabi! I loved your presentation. I thought it was very helpful. Your selection of yarns was very interesting and I loved seeing the weavies from each skein. Weaving has made me look at yarn very differently (I am a lifetime crocheter) and I love to experiment. I wish I could go yarn shopping with you — it would be such fun. LOL Thank you for all you do!! It is so appreciated!!!!
Oh, I’d love to go yarn shopping with you!!! Thank you for your comments. I particularly like that weaving has made you look at yarn very differently. I agree with that, actually for all fiber crafts, that yarn can be an inspiration for designing or making something, and that it is not always that a design or idea comes first.
