Come and See – (4) Dino Gnome

Meet TURTLEsaurus Rex who is getting ready to meet her cousin Yarnivorus Rex at the Yarnivore this Saturday.

Thinking about our gnome of the month for August, there is of course everything summer or “back to school”, but then we decided to do something less ordinary and still funny and made a dinosaur gnome. Goes well with our first trunk show, of course, at the Yarnivore, who’s mascot happens to be a dinosaur.

Dino Gnome is made using the classic Plymouth Yarn Encore, a nice to work with, easy-care blend. If you prefer wool,  Plymouth Yarn Galway is a great choice. Both yarns are available in many colors at the Yarnivore (great choices for temperature blankets, too).

The gnome series puts several TURTLE looms to work, and if you are new to hexagon pin looms, the Loom Combo II is an excellent way to get started and save.  The “scales” by the way are another great application for our smallest TURTLE, the 1″ BabyTURTLE™ loom.

ALL the gnomes of 2018 (up to August) will be part of our trunk show at the Yarnivore this Saturday, August 25th, 2018, from noon to 4 pm.

Come and see!
